He is well known as the original bass voice in The King’s Singers with whom he sang 2000 concerts worldwide between 1968 and 1982.)

Yes. Because I would have the bird AND the bush. Who knows, I might not be able to get the two birds out of the bush, and that would be a very sad day indeed.

Final night of 'The Journey To Rheims'

Tonight marks the final performance of the outdoor opera ‘The Journey to Rheims’ by Rossini. We have had a fantastic season so far (with a standing ovation last night). Audiences have been laughing and giggling at our on stage antics and the feedback so far has been wonderful. I promise to update you all with reviews of the show when they are released.

Tonight marks the opening of the fabulous outdoor opera The Journey To Rheims (Il Viaggio a Rheims) performed in Day’s Bay here in gloriously sunny Wellington.

The season runs until Saturday, and I believe that it is sold out - however there might be some last minute tickets available for the opening (The Friday/Saturday are definitely sold out).

I look forward to seeing you opera lovers there!

ProjectBORN Photos - Part Three (Video to come soon!)

ProjectBORN was a charity fundraiser for the NeoNatal trust produced with Sir Richard Taylor, Weta Workshops, Mojo Coffee and directed by Jo Randerson. I can certainly say, it was the first time that I have ever sung “E Lucevan Le Stelle” in anything as revealing.

The project was a resounding success and plans to bring an even bigger and better ProjectBORN to Wellington (and further afield) next year are in the works… Stay tuned!
